This Korean restaurant has quickly become one of our favorites! We've been here a couple of times and always had a great experience. The restaurant is a decent size, clean, and staffed with friendly, attentive employees who make you feel welcome. This time, we ordered the seafood tofu soon, buldak (spicy chicken), and galbi (beef) to BBQ on the table grill. The interactive BBQ experience is always a highlight--they bring the marinated meats, and you get to cook them to your liking right at your table. Everything was incredibly flavorful and well-seasoned. We also tried their cheese corn and kimchi fried rice this time, and both were fantastic! Every dish was packed with flavor, hearty, and satisfying. The portions are generous, and we left feeling completely full and happy. The only thing missing here is dessert. It would be great if they added some Korean desserts to the menu to complete the meal experience. Even without it, this place is a gem, and we'll definitely keep coming back for more!
Super yummy food for the quality and price served Amazing staff friendly people Casual restaurant clean vibes with a hint of Korean restaurant decor style
This is one of the consistent Korean bbq joints on long point. Their Korean bbq is where it's at. Their meats are top quality. We got the beef combo (bnb?) comes with galbi, la galbi, and beef bulbolgi, we also got the thick cut pork belly and the calamari steak. We added on the corn cheese and a pork kimchi tofu soup. The beef combo is amazing, each cut of beef is superb and flavorful. It melts in your mouth. The thick cut pork belly is great. We cook that until it's crispy! The calamari was ok, I wouldn't get it again though. The tofu soup is solid but nothing special. The corn cheese was a hit with my kids. The service here is very attentive and they have those cute little robots help carry out the food. The side dishes are ok, they have the thick cut fish cakes here.
Great spot for KBBQ in HTX! I had a lot of people with me and the restaurant gave us our own secluded room and were very accommodating to the people who weren't familiar with kbbq. We also celebrated a birthday and they kept the cake nice and cold for us and lit the candles! Would def come back- has everything kbbq should have
I thought BBQ Garden had the best kimchi pancakes but this place takes the trophy for best kimchi pancake. Don't come here without getting it. Speaking of good food, their japchae is also the best. It's better than mine!!!! It came with so much beef and veggies but the noodles were seasoned well. I could just go there to order these two dishes and have their robot waiter deliver it to me. The robot plays 80s music too! Service was attentive. Our waiter and the manager kept tabs on us and made sure we had what we needed. Though it's weird there is no tableside doorbell... The restaurant is cozy. They have a decent lunch menu. If you get their large how sake, be prepared to share with 4 people. It's large and in charge. Bbq was simply ok. Banchan is good. Next time, I'll stick to their hot dishes!
We recently met up with some friends here for some KBBQ, was a great experience! Food: 5/5 the portions are generous, albeit a tad bit on the expensive side (not AYCE). The seafood pancake was amazing, and the seafood noodles were surprisingly good too. BBQ meats were fresh and tasty Service: 5/5 everything came out quick and our servers were friendly. My son loved seeing the robot servers go back and forth! Ambiance: 5/5 they have a little waterfall area on the inside that my son loved to play with. This seems like a great spot for families to take their kids, and we were surprised that the smoke didn't bother our little one so I guess they have great ventilation! Overall a great dinner, would come back!
A fave spot for Korean food in the area. I love coming here either for their lunch/dinner menu or kbbq. Plenty of parking spaces in a small plaza off of Long Point. Service is quick and friendly. We always get seated right away. Some of my favorite items are the soft tofu stew with seafood, bossam, and the LA Galbi. I always get the tofu stew every time I'm here. It's my comfort food and pair with the LA galbi makes a great combo. The large bossam could feed 4-6 people. We can never finish it especially when you're also eating all the sides and other dishes. I have also tried kbbq here with a group. We were seated in a private room. You can order off of their combo menu. I mostly prefer just ordering off of their normal menu versus doing the kbbq.
After the Texans' game, my wife and I went to Korea Garden for a quick dinner. This is one of the oldest Korean restaurants in Houston (it's been here 40 years), and it's still here for a reason! We ordered the spicy marinated pork (one of my favorite Korean dishes) and the marinated short rib (again, one of my favorites!), and let the kitchen staff cook it rather than do it ourselves at the table. It was wonderful! The atmosphere here, at least while we were there, was quiet and cozy - perfect for a romantic dinner! I love Korean food, and this place is on my short list of best Korean restaurants in Houston!
Came here for the first time over the weekend and it is safe to say that it is one of my new favorite spots! Even on a Saturday night, we were seated immediately and the service was quick and friendly throughout the meal. The staff even helped us park our car when we couldn't find a spot in the limited parking lot. We ordered the Kimchi Jjigae and the Bul Dak Dol Sot. Both of the dishes were so so delicious. The Kimchi Jjigae was hot, flavorful, and comforting. It paired well with the accompanying rice, too. The Dol Sot was amazing as well--just a great mixture of vegetables, rice, and spicy chicken. The rice was crispy along the bottom and sides of the hot bowl, which added some great texture to the meal. The food came with many side dishes and even a small free dessert (a sort of sweet rice slushie--I'm not sure of the official name) which was all delicious, too. The cherry on top of the cake was that it was not too expensive either! Pre-tax and tip, we paid $30. Given the quality and quantity of the food, it was a steal! Totally recommend stopping by Korea Garden Restaurant.
